PROTECHDNA
LAW ENFORCEMENT
THE GOAL HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE SAME.

For decades, you’ve asked residents to
link property to its owner.

Engrave it. Photograph it. Record the serial number.
Yet recovered valuables can still sit waiting for an owner.

Property records and DNA identifiers help officers establish the ownership connection.

Give property a voice. Give your community an advantage.

02 / WHAT IS DNA FOR PROPERTY?

A tiny identifier.
A powerful ownership connection.

This is identification technology for belongings. ProtechDNA’s adhesive contains thousands of microscopic dots, each etched with a unique PIN. Register that PIN to the owner and the property has a physical link to its ownership record.

Apply the DNA adhesive.

A small application places microscopic identifiers on the item. AI guided placement templates help owners document where the marking is located.

03 / MORE WAYS TO ESTABLISH OWNERSHIP

A DNA PIN. A serial number.
A picture. A connection.

Officers can search ownership records using registered DNA PINs and manufacturer serial numbers. Photo-based tools add another way to investigate potential matches as those agency resources become available.

DNA PIN lookup

Read a microscopic identifier with appropriate equipment and use the registered PIN to look up ownership information. Recorded DNA placement helps officers locate the marking.

Serial-number search

Search a manufacturer serial number recorded in the property inventory to help connect a recovered item with its ownership record.

Photo-based identification

Compare a recovered item with documented photographs and identifying details. Potential matches provide information for an officer to review and verify.

The network includes more than 10,000 registered law enforcement agencies. Access is through authorized resources; ownership is verified before property is returned.

04 / THE COMMUNITY STARTING POINT

Take 5 is the beginning.
Their inventory can keep growing.

Residents start with five free AI guided property registrations. Photographing a few important possessions introduces a simple way to build an ownership record.

Five AI guided registrations

AI helps residents document their first five items. No DNA kit or product purchase is required to participate.

Unlimited manual inventory

Residents can continue adding unlimited items manually, recording photos, manufacturer serial numbers and other identifying details.

Additional AI assistance

Paid options are available for additional AI assisted registrations. Residents can separately purchase DNA applications to add physical identification.

Five is a starting point—not an inventory limit.

The community campaign introduces AI guided registration while allowing residents to keep building their property records.
